Responsibilities:	Trustee and Board Member; San Joaquin County Employees' Retirement Association. Represents safety members of the Association.
Career Path & Other Activities:	Employed by San Joaquin County Sheriff's Office from 1990 as a Deputy Sheriff; Currently a Lieutienant assigned to Patrol Division; Worked in the jail, on patrol, and in investigations first on the Sacramento Valley Hi-tech Crimes Task Force and later in robbery/homicide. Active member in San Joaquin County Deputy Sheriff's Association including Board of Directors and served as president. Currently President of Valley Chapter PORAC where he has been an active member since 2002.
Education:	B.S. Degree in Criminal Justice from CSU Sacramento; J.D. Degree from Humphrey's College; Active member of California State Bar; Specialized training in computers; Internet investigations, homicide investigations, internal afairs investigations, peace officer's bill of rights, labor negotiations.
